The Season Everything Fell Apart
I didn't build 360 Mindful because I had a business plan. I built it because I was losing my job, and I needed something to hold onto that wasn't falling apart with everything else. I wasn't trying to start a company. I was trying to protect my mental health, one day at a time.
Where the Affirmation Cards Came From
Words were the first thing that helped — small, specific sentences I needed to see, not just think. On the mornings I didn't feel like getting up, I needed something physical to hold and read out loud until I believed it a little more. That's how the affirmation cards became a real product, not just notes to myself. Words are powerful, and shifting your mindset in a moment like that isn't optional. It's survival.
The Journal and What Came After
Once my mind steadied, it needed somewhere to go next. The journal came out of that shift — a place to hold the new ideas and visions I was starting to imagine, now that I wasn't just trying to survive the day. What began as a coping mechanism slowly became a business. I designed candles. I hosted my first retreat.
Why It Sat for Years
Then it went quiet. Life asked something different of me around 2020 and I chose my research career over building the brand further. I never fully let go, though. I kept the domain, kept the Instagram. Some part of me knew this wasn't over, just paused.
2026: Picking It Back Up
This year, I came back to it. It felt like a leap of faith I almost talked myself out of. I still have some of the original inventory sitting from that first run...proof this brand survived being set down, and it's ready to be picked back up.
What 360 Mindful Is Becoming
This time, I'm building something bigger around the same permission I gave myself back then — permission to start over, without waiting for anyone's approval first. That permission is becoming its own product now, the Permission Planner, and its own retreat: high-achieving women gathered somewhere beautiful to release, relax, and reinvent.
If This Is You
You don't have to have it all figured out to begin again. You just have to begin.
That's what 360 Mindful has always been about. Not perfection. Permission.
